ECHO - a turn key development solution

Imaker ECHO is a development solution. However, it can be delivered as a complete content management system without any modifications. This separates Imaker ECHO from many competing products that have to be modified by an engineer before the client can utilize the tool.

ECHO comes in different versions; the most widespread version is Site Server.

ECHO Site Server comes with all the functions (called objects in ECHO) that you expect from a cms, without any special development or modules: This is cost efficient.

The development of new objects is only needed in special cases; when the clients have special needs or when ECHO has to be integrated into another system. But herein lays the strong point of the tool; that a standard system can be adapted for each client. There is a clear division between standard and tailor made solutions in ECHO. Consequently, software upgrades are carried out continuously, without affecting client specific objects. With some content management systems you may risk being cut out from general software upgrades because you have special solutions/objects in your system.

ECHO Site Server includes a range of general objects that you can use as building blocks for your web site(s), such as Paragraphs, Pivtures, Photoseries, Pages, Forms, Containers, Links, Archives, Categories, Columns, Grids, Frames and much more. Standardized additional objects, such as Newsletter, Market polling, E-learning and B2B/B2C shop modules are also available.
